What does the map show?

It connects a geographic point to its local eclipse circumstances: visibility, contact times, magnitude, obscuration and Sun altitude.

Can I click anywhere?

Yes. Open the simulator, choose Change location and select a point or search for a city.

Does the map predict weather?

No. The geometry is astronomical; cloud, haze, terrain detail and weather remain illustrative or outside the model.
