No. Ordinary sunglasses, exposed film and improvised filters do not make direct solar viewing safe.

Never look directly at the uneclipsed or partially eclipsed Sun without compliant solar viewing protection. A 3D preview is safe; the real Sun is not.
When may glasses come off?
Only observers inside the path of totality may remove compliant viewers during the brief total phase, after the photosphere is completely covered. Put them back on before totality ends.
Can I look through a camera or telescope?
Only with a suitable solar filter secured over the front aperture. Looking through unfiltered optics can cause immediate severe eye injury.
